2006-2010 Harley Davidson Buell Ulysses

The Buell XB12X Ulysses was a v2, four-stroke Road motorcycle produced by Buell between 2006 and 2010. Max torque was 84.01 ft/lbs (113.9 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 100.84 HP (75.2 KW) @ 6800 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a oil & air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 88.9mm bore x 96.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1202.9 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multi-plate, compensated.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. ztl™ brake, 6-piston, fixed caliper; single-sided, inside-out, stainless steel, floating rotor in the front and a single disc. two-piston, direct mount caliper; stainless steel, fixed rotor in the rear. The front suspension was a 47 mm showa inverted forks with rearward offset axle, adjustable compression damping, rebound damping and spring preload while the rear was equipped with a showa coil-over monoshock with remote reservoir and remote spring preload adjustment, fully adjustable (compression damping, rebound damping and spring preload). The XB12X Ulysses was fitted with a 4.4 Gallon (16.65 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 465.18 pounds (211.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.09 inches (1374 mm) long.

2008 Buell XB12XT Ulysses

The 2008 MY Buell XB12XT combines features from three categories of motorcycles, being a street-fighter at heart, with long-haul oriented standard features and can even tackle light off-road tracks. At its heart lies an air-cooled, four-stroke, 1203cc, 45-degree pushrod V-Twin powerplant paired to a five-speed manual transmission with a Kevlar belt final drive and can produce a claimed 103 horsepower and 114 Nm of torque.

It also comes with standard fittings as a dual seat, passenger grab rails, lockable, side-panniers, a rear trunk, an adjustable windshield, blacked-out, cast-aluminum wheels, an under-belly exhaust system, an aluminum hollow frame that doubles as a fuel tank, an aluminum swingarm that also doubles as an oil tank, and the trademark, low-mounted rear shock absorber.
