Riding the Alps

Have you visited the Dolomites? Last month, this was me and my wife. That was just one day of our amazing adventure. Sella pass Dolomites. We continue on to Sella after passing through the gorgeous Pordoi pass. The scenery is breathtaking, and the weather is ideal for riding, with clouds and temperatures ranging from 12 to 16 degrees Celsius. In our opinion, this is one of the most beautiful passages in the world. There is a link below if you want to see this ride. Enjoy

“Riding Stelvio Pass on a motorcycle is in a league of its own when it comes to touring. It’s iconic, frightening, exhilarating, challenging, dangerous, and rewarding – all at the same time”. We did it – Steve & RoseHello everyone, this has turned into a ride that we will never forget (me and wife). In my 40+ years of riding and since we ride a lot in mountainous Greece and the Greek islands, we are very familiar with hairpin turns. The Stelvio Pass, on the other hand, is an extraordinary experience. We headed to the Stelvio pass after passing through the beautiful Pordoi and Sella passes late last month. Around 11 a.m., we begin ascending the mountain, and wow, what a spectacular view. Riding the first few bends seemed to be simple, but it soon becomes increasingly difficult. Then, as we get closer to the top, we begin to have issues with approaching cars and bicycles (For a couple of motorcyclists, an ambulance came) We got it to the summit after having to stop a few times to address problems. Wow, what an adventure this day has been.

Aafter our extraordinary ascent to the top of the Stelvio pass from the Prato village side, we thought the most scenic ride was over, what a huge mistake. The descent of the “Stelvio to Bormio” town is a MUST RIDE for all motorcycle enthusiasts. The scenic views from the Bormio side are even better, with the Spondalunga waterfall cave tunnels and spectacular views. Wow, what an adventure this day has been. After riding the Alps scenery change dramatically riding the coastline, we have found a very nice costal road with strange long cave tunnels, then a forest were bikers love to race the turns. Finally got to Pisa. Got lost a little inside the Pisa old town but even better we got to see it with the motorcycle. What a RIDE. Enjoy the video

Lake Garda

After Venice we went to lake Garda, what an amazing RIDE, part 1 is the ride part 2 is the caves and Stratta della FORTA in Tremosine, Province of Brescia, Italy
